Whats this all about???

Hi, my name is Olivia Liman. I am studying Fashion Marketing and Branding in my third year at Nottingham Trent University. I have set up this blog as a way to document research for my project on the brand Net-a-porter. The aim of my project was to target a younger more edgy consumer and to give Net-a-porter a more industry presence, not only for its consumers but for the fashion industry as well. From my research I have thought about many ways to achieve my objectives, and I have come up with an idea based upon a competition. The aim of the fashion design competition for Net-a-porter is to find new talent and create a platform for young designers who may have recently graduated who do not have the means to create they own fashion label. The winning designer will be able to create a capsule collection funded by Net-a-porter and appearing on the website.
